Odds so low it feels illegal*

You weren’t unlucky. You were outnumbered.

They sold you the dream. They didn't mention the queue.

You've found the cheat code.

*Relax. It's legal

We get it.

Playing for prizes is fun. But always losing sucks. Like really f*cking sucks.

You’ve played elsewhere before.

Bought 1 ticket, 100 tickets, maybe even more than you’d planned.

Then the weekend draw lands and someone else bags the prize.

Most competition players have a bad case of “cheap ticket syndrome”.

A scoop of “it’s massively undersold”, a sprinkle of “maybe this time it’s me”, and suddenly you’re staring at another result wondering why you bothered.

We’ve been there before.

But this isn’t about us. It’s about you.

You’re still reading because you know, deep down, that if you played differently, maybe you’d be next.

Or maybe you’re already buzzing from a win and you simply want another.

Whatever drives you to play, your journey starts below.

Play where the odds makesense.

We work tirelessly to bring you brilliant prizes at the best odds and realistic prices, because that’s what you deserve.

The UK competition market is growing too fast.

Skip the guesswork, the “have a tipple” nonsense, and the never-ending mess of unrealistic ticket caps from a market chasing the lowest possible ticket price for attention instead of backing you properly as a player.

Stop watching from the sidelines

You could be our next low odds winner

You’ve been trained to trust the wrong things.

I don’t blame you for not having all the information. Before we began building Gridchance Competitions, we didn’t know the full picture either.

So let’s break it down Barney style.

“Free entry route”

They’re not doing it to be nice. Legitimate paid-entry prize draws should clearly explain their free entry route, including how to enter, where to send it, and when entries must arrive.

“Guaranteed draw”

No extensions should mean no moving the goalposts. If a draw date is set, the prize should be awarded properly, even when the numbers hurt.

“Random number generator”

Random is good. Verifiable is better. We use TrueNorth RNG software so draws can be checked after the result, not just watched once and forgotten.

We charge for tickets so we can buy the prizes, run the website, advertise properly, keep the lights on and keep building Gridchance into the best low-odds competition platform we can.

And if operators didn’t charge, the industry wouldn’t exist. There’d be no prizes. No winners. No fun.

It’s just one of those things.

But if a site buries key entry terms, changes dates, or makes fulfilment unclear after the draw, that should make you stop and think.

Gridchance has been around since December 2025, and we’ve already given away prizes at a loss because we’re here to build the best odds competition website in the UK.

It sucks sometimes.

But we’re here to build something better. And sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make that Gordon Ramsay, melt-in-the-middle omelette.

How do we pick our numbers?

I’ll be honest. I don’t know how everyone else does it. Sometimes it feels like they set the ticket price at 5p, roll a dice, then slap six extra zeros on the end.

*cough* 1 in 6,000,000 is not a realistic chance *cough*

When we choose ours, we aim to give you the best balance of price and odds we realistically can.

We’re not here to rinse players with impossible numbers. We’re scaling so we can keep bringing better prizes while protecting the thing that makes Gridchance different: low odds.

Car OR cash alternative cost £3,000
Processing cost £500–£600
Meta advertising £1,000–£1,500
Website fees £200–£500
Card processing fees £200–£500
Estimated upfront cost to run the competition £4,900–£6,100

From there, we work backwards.

Ticket price: £4.99

Tickets needed to break even: around 1,222

Breakeven x 3, rounded down to the nearest 1,000: 3,000 tickets

That gives us a competition with a realistic cap, a clear route to sustainability and a far better chance than the ridiculous million-ticket fields you see elsewhere.

Our focus will always be building a better platform, better prizes and better odds for you — not squeezing every draw for maximum profit.
